Paul Greig delivers everything that you need. With his down-to-Earth voice and laid-back personality, Greig does a fine job of letting listeners sit back and relish in the early-afternoon vibes of his guitar playing. |
| “Dance My Fools” is one of the most energetic tracks on the album, a fetching cut with sizzling slide guitar and enough twang to reveal Greig’s country inspirations but swimming on the borderline between Americana and acoustic pop. The poetic “Paint My Eyes” is among my favorites; it works as a moving lullaby, caressing the ears with its mesmerizing gentle grooves. | ![]() |

| Unlike many other unsigned singer/songwriters, it looks like Greig took some time and effort (and money) to make sure that this CD sounds as immaculate as a major-label release. On the lovely “Like a Thorn,” you can taste each string on the guitar as it drifts down like a waterfall. Very pretty. | ![]() |
